Happy Halloween to you all

As I dont have any cards to post at this very moment I thought youd like to see how quickly Jacob is growing up, hes now almost 8 months old and such a happy little chap. He does spend lots of time with his cousins and they all get on together brilliantly, my grandson and his wife are doing a fabulous job of raising him, dont you agree?

A Card for the Sugar Bowl and Sugary Sunday Challenges

Good Morning Crafters, well Im really cheesed of with the weather its been pouring with rain all night and it was coming down so heavy it woke me up at 5am and of course there was no way I was going to be able to get back to sleep so I rather gave up trying and before you knew it, it was 7am and time to wake up anyway.
Im a little dissappointed with the pumpkins on this card as the ink wasnt as dark as I thought it was, it was probably the fact that I used a light to take the photo but they did look a lot darker originally than they do now. Anyway this is a Saturated Canary image from Sugar Nellie and I have printed her onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her, afterwards I used a Nestabilitie Die to cut her out and inked around the edge, then placed it onto a mount of black card.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of black card and I have used yet more of the Sweethshoppe papers this set is called "Spider Cider" and the first paper in orange has black spiders on it, the second is a black damask pattern and I have cut a 5" square then used my spider border and corner punch on it. I then placed this on top of the bottom layer.
I then stuck my mounted image towards the left and the overlay die cut is from Memory Box and this stuck down over the mounted image. Then down the right hand side I cut three pumpkins from Die-namics and I also used their stamps on top, I realise now I probably should have used orange card instead of white, but you can just see the patterns on them, sorry about that.
To finish of I have used the left over diecut from the middle of the overlay with a sentiment from my stash and positioned it across the bottom right hand corner. Then to finish of I have used two halloween charms one of the overlay and one on the pumpkin.

My first La La Land Card

Good Morning Crafters, well here in Gloucestershire its raining and its cloudy, hubby tells me its also quite cold but then he says it all the time so as Ive not been outside I cant be sure if it is or it isnt. Well todays card  has been created with on of my La La Land Steampunk images, this one is a digi image and probably come out bigger than the stamp image, but Ive printed her onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her.
Afterwards I used my circle Nestabilitie Die to cut her out and a Cog Nestabilitie Die for the mount, before sticking her to the mount I have used some sepia ink and distressed it around the edges.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of brown card, the papers I have chosen to use are also from La La Land and this set is called Steampunk to, the first paper is a brown background with several different shades of cogs on it, and the second is a cog with wings design that I have pleated and then stuck it to the base mount.
The mounted image was then placed on top of them and down the bottom I have used the Dienamics cog diecuts, and in the opposite corner I have used Tim Holtz metal die embellishments. To finish of I have used the dianamics flag banner die and stamps for the sentiment which I have just stuck behind the top of the image.

A Christmas Card for Sundays with Santa Challenge

Good Evening Crafters, well its been a few days since I last posted and Im still finding it difficult to find the memo to creating more cards to post, I am making the odd Christmas cards for my stash and this is one for the Sundays with Santa Facebook Challenge, this weeks is "Shades of Red" and I have actually used The Paper Shelter "Are you my Friend" and you will find it here and I have printed the image onto white card then used my copic pens to colour it, I then cut it out completely.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card and for my first mount I have used red card, then I used the one of the new "Merry Christmas Vintage Quick Papers" and you will find them here, then I have placed my cut out image in the center, before doing so I have used glitter on the white fluff of her had and coat, then for her beard and hair I have used Deco Art Snow Writer and swirled it to represent hair.
I then cut out the sentiment from a Britainia die, and these then placed down the right hand side of the image.

A Card for Elaine and for the Sugar Bowl

Good Morning crafters, Im so sorry Ive been away for so long but if you visit my No.1 blog you will see why, I attended my eldest daughters wedding in Scotland and had a wonderful time. We actually left on Thursday as I had made arrangements to visit Elaine Livesay in Oldham and it was worth every moment of it, shes a wonderful person and made us feel so welcome and we also got to meet her gorgeous son Hal (who had come home to visit his mum on his Birthday, bless him) and her lovely hubby Phil, thanks love for a wonderful afternoon and thank you for taking time of work to spend it with us.
Then we spent the night in a motel before going on to Hamilton  for the next 3 nights, hubby Ian had booked a excutive room which was fabulous, I felt like a princess. The wedding was on Saturday and the weather was really kind and we had a wonderful day and everyone looked stunning. Then on Sunday we spent some of the day visiting the New Museum of Transport in Glasgow which my hubby wanted to go to for along time, he loves steam trains and along with lots of methods of transport he really did enjoy the trip. And we also watched the Marathon runners running past the building, and I did feel sorry for them as it was raining and they did look wet and uncomfortable some of them.
Then on Monday we went to Edinburgh to visit another of my dear friends Avril, and guess what Nikki had made the trip from Dundee to see us with her gorgeous children and her new babe who I hadnt met last time we were up in Scotland. Thanks Avril for such a lovely morning and I hope your not to tired looking after the children while mum takes a break. Hope you liked the cakes we left.
Anyway back to my card I have used one of the gorgeous Funky Knits images and I printed it onto a piece of white card then coloured with my copic pens, then I used Nestabilitie Dies to cut it out and mounted it onto another of the new Gold Labels in lilac card.
The base card is a white card with a piece of lilac card, and the papers are from Maya papers and then on top of this is a square doily and across the center is a piece of ribbon attached to the back of the first mount. The mounted the image in the center with a sentiment below in the right hand corner and the final thing is the die cut flourish in the left hand corner.
